Southern Bike Night and the Biker

The idea of Southern Bike Night came to TV Director Jim Burgos back in New Orleans, Louisiana filming a television show called Big Easy Choppers.  Big Easy Choppers was a top rated television show on the UPN, New Orleans for almost 3 years.  August of 2005’, Hurricane Katrina came and devastated tens of thousands of families.  Jim, the rest of his staff, crew and family were amongst the devastated.  They lost everything.

Jim packed up as much as he could fit in a rented automobile and headed south to Florida with a vision, a dream, to rebuild again.  We begin to tell the tale of Southern Bike Night, the dream, the vision of a determined Jim Burgos.

Jim began traveling to as many bike events, motorcycle rallies, and benefits meeting and supporting the bike community.  One table, one event and one person, determined and driven.  Many people a long the way lent Jim a hand.  After years of filming and endless financial struggles Jim meets Founder of Mortgage Company Rocks, Inc.  Needless did they both know, a simple company sponsorship would turn into a great lasting friendship and ultimately a partnership in building Southern Bike Night and Southern Bike Night TV.

In December of 2008’ Southern Bike Night launched Southern Bike Night TV on the CW, West Palm Beach.  Years of filming and footage, thousands of events, poker runs, bike rallies and bike nights; Southern Bike Night TV turns from a dream to reality.

Southern Bike Night has transformed itself over the past three (3) years.  Even though the original mission is still a big part of Southern Bike Night, “to give the biker and enthusiasts an outlet to find out where bike nights are being held and to provide communication for the many motorcycle events in South Florida,” SBN has expanded this to encompass a magazine, a TV show and a new state of the art 34’ tour bus which will take Jim and Dene’ to national events.

Southern Bike Night TV is a reality biker TV show which gives the audience/viewer a one of a kind real look into the bike community.  There has been no other camera or show that has “until now” been able to produce this type of perspective.

This is a show made by bikers for bikers to show the brotherhood, comradery, and love for one another, community, country, and for the open road.  This is a show about the life and times of a biker and the events, poker runs, bike rallies, and where he rides to after purchasing a bike.

Whether you belong to a motorcycle club, association, organization, independent, weekend warrior or maybe want to ride – this show will fit anyone’s interest.  It’s not what you ride but who you are!

Come join us, the family, and the staff of SBN on the road as we bring you another inside, one of a kind look into the biker community!

Hope you enjoy the ride!!
